Artist Residency Aboard the Marion Dufresne, French Antarctic

A passport valid for at least six months beyond the planned April 2027 return is required, as is a command of French sufficient to communicate on board with the scientific and logistics teams.

After the residency, the artist will present the work during 2027, first in La Reunion at a venue or festival and then, where possible, in mainland France.

Applicants are also asked to secure at least 20 percent co-funding of the total project cost and to propose at minimum one public presentation of the work in La Reunion before the end of 2027.
