QR Codes
A QR code that leads to your site or to one particular work. For a label at an exhibition, for a business card, for a sticker on the back.
Where it earns its keep
At an exhibition, next to the work: someone scans and sees not just that piece
but the whole series, the price, and a way to buy. That is the distance between
"I liked it" and "I can own it", and it is the distance almost nobody crosses.
In a printed catalogue, on a business card, on the back of a work you have sold —
so that in ten years the next owner can find out whose work they have.
What you get to see
Every code counts its scans: how many, and when the last one was. This is one of
the rare places where the return on being somewhere in person becomes visible —
usually an exhibition ends and leaves you no number at all.
A code can be switched off without deleting it: the link stops working, the
history stays.
On higher plans a code can carry your colours and your logo.
