There is a range of range of financial support provided depending on each applicant and travel category, from 50,000 JPY to 150,000 JPY.
What it asks: no fee stated
Applications must be submitted at least 6 weeks prior to the travel date and the travel period can be April 2026 – September 2026 or October 2026 – March 2027.

The EU-Japan Fest Japan Committee supports individuals and organisations for projects between Japan and a European Capital of Culture. The fund supports travel for research, project planning, and collaboration.
