ADKX Artist-in-Residence Program

Artists who are not legal residents of the United States are responsible for obtaining any required documentation and/or visas for the residency and pay any costs to secure that documentation. ADKX cannot serve as a sponsor in order to obtain a visa, but can provide confirmation of the residency off

$5000 plus up to $500 allowance for travel costs (airfare, train, mileage). Up to $250 for material costs for artist-led activities with museum visitors.

Proposals must include:1. One page letter outlining artist’s existing/desired relationship to the Adirondacks. Letter should note how the residency would benefit their body of work and how the region inspires artist’s creativity.2. Artist statement/biography3. Portfolio of works (8-15). Portfolio mu
